Our Story

What started as a personal road trip through South Africa's farm stalls and family kitchens became a calling. From day one, our mission has been to let people taste and experience the richness and variety of South African breakfast culture.

We work closely with regional bakeries, cheesemakers, farm stalls and family businesses that have kept their traditions alive for generations. Each of our experiences is an invitation to see this authentic craftsmanship up close.

Our team brings together food enthusiasts, local historians and chefs who combine their expertise to create unforgettable moments around the breakfast table.

Our Milestones

2019

The Idea Takes Shape

On a journey through the farm stalls and bakeries of the Garden Route, the vision is born to share these culinary treasures with a wider audience.

2020

First Partnerships

We begin working with traditional bakeries, farm stalls and family producers on the Garden Route, in the Little Karoo and in the Overberg. The first breakfast tours are designed.

2021

Workshop Programme

Launch of our hands-on baking workshops and talks on South African breakfast culture. More than 500 participants in the first year.

2023

Growing Across the Country

Our programme expands to selected experiences in the Western Cape, the Karoo, KwaZulu-Natal and on the Highveld. Corporate events and tailor-made food getaways are introduced.
